Jonathan Vining is a master stylist and the owner of J Edwards Hair, bringing more than 18 years of experience and a deep passion for beauty to every client he serves. His journey began in 2006 at Paul Mitchell The School, but his love for hair started much earlier. As a child, Jonathan spent summers at his mother’s workplace—Taft Hair & Cosmetics in the Milford Mall—where he quickly discovered a natural talent for styling and a genuine joy in helping people feel their best. Today, he is recognized for his advanced color formulation, modern color techniques, and expertise in multiple hair extension methods. As a Babe Hair Extensions certified professional, Jonathan blends artistry with precision, always prioritizing the health and integrity of his clients’ hair. His approach is deeply personalized, ensuring every color, cut, and extension service enhances both someone’s look and their confidence.
My career in the beauty industry began long before I opened the doors of J. Edwards Hair. While attending Paul Mitchell the School, I had the opportunity to assist and learn inside some of Connecticut’s most respected salons, including Warren Tricomi in Greenwich and Noelle in Stamford. These early experiences exposed me to high-end salon culture, advanced techniques, and the importance of exceptional client care.
I typically have a 6-8 week wait time for new clients, unless I receive a cancellation or there is availability. Weekends and nights are exclusively booked out 6-8 weeks.

I never take for granted the beautiful people who choose to sit in my chair, and my goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident.
Being behind the chair has allowed me to always be my true self (not always my true hair!). This career has kept me passionate, creative, and always learning. KEM Styling was established in 2017 after being trained at Paul Mitchell the School and working at Paul Mitchell salon for 9 years. I am behind the chair on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I’ve been a hairdresser for 17 years, but in many ways, it feels like I’ve been doing this my whole life. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved everything about hair—That childhood passion grew into a career that still lights me up every single day.
As a dedicated hairdresser, I bring experience, creativity, and genuine care to each client I meet. I specialize in extensions, cutting, and coloring.
Outside of the salon, I’m also a wife and a proud mom of three, a role that inspires me daily. Balancing motherhood and my career has taught me patience, strength, and the importance of loving what you do.

Hi, I’m Erika! I’ve been behind the chair for over a year, specializing in lived-in color, custom haircuts, and organic, effortless styles that feel natural and uniquely you. I graduated from the International Institute of Cosmetology in 2024, but my passion for beauty started long after that.
Before stepping into salon life, I spent years freelancing in the beauty industry, collaborating with photographers, bridal teams, and brands like Badgley Mischka Bridal and American Express. My work has been featured in Indian Vogue. While I love the creative side of the hair and makeup industry, what truly inspires me is the one-on-one connection with each person who sits in my chair. My goal is to create a space where you feel cared for, understood, and completely yourself.
